Want to practice Medicine back home in Canada? If you are or have a loved one studying medicine abroad, you should attend this meeting. Canadians who chose to study medicine abroad face significant barriers to accessing residency training in Canada. Do you know what these barriers are and how to position yourself or help your child to succeed?
At this meeting we will be discussing-
- The current system of access to residency training
- What we are doing to make residency training fair and accountable
- What we are doing to create more residency positions for Canadians
- What Medical students should do to improve their chances of matching
- Connect you to people who have been successful in matching
- A CSA who is now licensed and practicing will speak and answer questions
THIS IS A MEETING YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS. MEDICAL STUDENTS- PLEASE POST THIS INFORMATION AT YOUR SCHOOLS AND OTHER SCHOOLS AND FORWARD IT TO YOUR CANADIAN CLASSMATES. ENCOURAGE YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO ATTEND THE MEETING.
Please RSVP socasma@outlook.com or message us on Facebook the number that will be attending the meeting, together with any questions or requests and we will make a note of these and try to include these in the discussion.
Arrangements can be made for people from out of town to attend via Zoom.
